The CCMU is a regional hub for research into thematic priorities in critical care. These include sepsis and septic cardiomyopathy, advanced mechanical circulatory support, and application of point-of-care monitoring and diagnostic devices. We coordinate research efforts in the Asia-Pacific region and lead territory-wide observational research in outcomes after intensive care for critical illness.
